When drilling the oil well, surface pressure control is provided by the blowout
preventer (BOP) to avoid blow out. Once the well has been drilled and
completed, the surface pressure control is provided by a Christmas tree which
is installed on top of a wellhead with isolation valves and chokes equipment to
control the flow of well fluids during production.
At Shorematter, we have competent team that specialize in maintenance of both
surface and subsea wellheads.
